The paddle was inspired by our close friend Nigel Harbach

Andy Owen started a paddle on the 22nd of June from North Bondi to Mudjimba Surf Club on the Sunshine Coast, a distance of over 1000 kilometres.
This paddle is to raise money and awareness for victims of Leukaemia and associated blood disorders.
The paddle was inspired by our close friend Nigel Harbach, who has been diagnosed with MDS (myelodysplastic syndrome) and has just undergone his second bone marrow transplant.
With this paddle we hope to raise $100 per kilometre all of which will go to the victims of Leukemia and associated blood disorders, and the Leukemia Foundation.

Last week we ran a small auction for a new Think paddle and paddling top

with Julie Sladden winning with a bid of $325.

Thanks Julie for your donation to this fantastic cause

and to all the guys who made bids.

You can get more information and updates on the Big Paddle at their website here

If you can help by making a donation, it really would be appreciated.
